When you’re moving from a home from Lieven de Key, the owner of your new home will ask you for a ‘verhuurdersverklaring’ or landlord statement from Lieven de Key. The statement provides information about your stay with your current landlord for the past two years. Were you a good tenant in that you kept the apartment clean and paid the rent on time?
The landlord statement is provided for the main tenant (principal tenant) but can also be provided for the co-tenant. We do not issue landlord statements with both names on them.
Lieven de Key can fill out a landlord statement and send it to you. You can contact customer service for this.
