Contract acquisition of business premises,

When renting a commercial space from Lieven de Key, you can transfer your lease to a successor by means of a contract acquisition. This is only possible if your successor continues your business in the building.

Do you wish to sell your business, but your successor wants to start an entirely different kind of business on the premises? In this case, contract acquisition is not possible.

Costs

The cost for a contract acquisition amounts to 4% of the annual rent with a maximum of € 1000, - and a minimum of € 500, -.

Rent adjustment

Please note that the rental rate may change for your successor because it will be brought into line with the market. Until the agreement is final, the current tenant is responsible for the lease payments.
