Chimney Sweeping,

The purpose of a chimney is to ensure that the smoke and fumes produced by your heater or fireplace can escape. If you have a gas stove, fireplace or burner, it is important that the chimney is swept regularly. Then the heater can continue to burn properly, the air in your house will be clean and there will be less chance of a chimney fire.

If you do not have central heating, Lievene Key provides a free chimney sweeping service once every three years. Our tenants will receive a letter when the chimney sweep is due to visit.

Responsibility

If you have central heating as well as a gas stove, fireplace or burner, you are responsible for having the chimney swept yourself. Make sure that this is done at least once every three years by a specialist company.
